Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a proclamation ordering all Florida flags lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset today to mark the one-year anniversary of the mass murder at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The proclamation applies to state flags at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the state. Seventeen students and faculty members were killed in the shooting.
