OKALOOSA CAR-JACKERS ARRESTED

A couple has been arrested after they stole a car and robbed a woman in Destin back in June of 2018. the victim said she saw that 30-year-old Cassie Niehenke and 37-year-old Lee Yerena were having car trouble and offered them a ride. They told her to drive to a secluded beach in Destin, where she was told she would be shot unless she handed over the car keys and her cell phone, which she did. Yerena was arrested on January 23^rd and Niehenke was arrested last Thursday. Both have been charged with robbery with a firearm and carjacking with a firearm and are being held in the Okaloosa Department of Corrections on a $40,000 bond.
