The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says a Molino man was arrested on drug charges and an outstanding battery warrant after a traffic stop for speeding in Walnut Hill. Jason Fayard was clocked doing 80 mph on Highway 97 and the deputy noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, A search turned up 50 grams of marijuana, methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia. Fayard was charged with various narcotics violations as well as an outstanding warrant for battery and burglary in Santa Rosa County.
