FLORIDA GAS PRICES

Florida gas prices have declined slightly. While they have gone done an average of four cents last week, the Triple “A” Auto Club says the state average could easily rise this week because of recent gains in wholesale gasoline. Florida drivers are paying an average price of $2.71 per gallon at the pump and Sunday’s average is 24 cents more than a month ago, and 9 cents more than this time last year. The Florida average remains 21 cents below last year’s high, and 5 cents less than the highest daily average price so far this year. Triple “A” says it could be another couple of weeks before refineries return to full strength, and pump prices stabilize.
