The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says a man was taken into custody yesterday after threatening to kill himself by jumping off the Brooks Bridge. After being detained, the man was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for evaluation according to Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Michele Nicholson. The incident took place about 3:30 p.m., Monday.
