PENSACOLA BOMB THREAT

The Pensacola Police Department responded to a report of a bomb threat at the U.S. Social Security Administration offices at 411 West Garden Street yesterday afternoon. A threatening letter was mailed to the office, which was evacuated as a precaution while officers search the premises for dangerous devices. Department spokesman Officer Mike Wood said the threat did not include any specific date or time, and a search of the building did not turn up anything. The investigation is continuing.
