FLORIDA HURRICANE SALES TAX HOLIDAY

Hurricane season began Saturday, and the 2019 Florida Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday is underway and runs through June 6th.  Exempted items can run up to $750 for a portable generator. Less expensive items include reusable ice packs, flashlights, batteries, fuel containers, coolers, radios, tarps, tie-down kits, and many others.
