A strong thunderstorm downed trees and power line in the Molino area in north Escambia County yesterday afternoon. Trees and power lines were reported down on Molino Road, Schaag Road, Sunshine Hill Road, Chesnut Road, Crabtree Church Road and several other locations. Gulf Power said about 850 customers were without power immediately after the storm. Escambia River Electric Cooperative was reporting about 431 customers without power. There were no injuries reported and no immediate reports of any structural damage.
