The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a 38-year-old man was arrested on charges of aggravated assault after he shot at a man at one location, then fired several shots outside a residence at another location. Investigators say James Tipton shot at a man on Williams Ditch Road Saturday morning, then a few hours later, went to a home on Highway 95A, and fired two shots into the woods. No one was injured from either incident. Tipton is being held in the Escambia County Jail on a $96,000 bond.
