GOAT OWNER LOCATED

The goat taken into custody by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office after a standoff near a Century grocery store on July 12th has been reunited with his family. Deputies were called to the area of the Food Giant on North Century Boulevard about 8:45 p.m. and a livestock officer was able to rope the goat about two hours later. The owner claimed the goat after the story was posted on NorthEscambia.com. an on-line publication that covers the news in North Escambia County.
