The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing Tuesday night, was found safe yesterday afternoon. On Wednesday morning, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office requested public assistance in locating 12-year-old Ajea Terreka Simpkins who was last seen around 11 p.m. Tuesday at her home in the 3000 block of West Lee Street. The Sheriff’s Office announced that she had been safely located shortly before 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
