IMPERSONATING POLICE OFFICER ARREST

The Okaloosa Sheriff’s Office says a man from Milton is charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer. Investigators say Thomas Dehart started tailgating another car on Highway 98 around 7:30 p.m and the driver of that car told deputies that Dehart turned on blue flashing lights, then pulled alongside and flipped a wallet as if showing identification. The man notified the Sheriff’s Department and deputies located Dehart and pulled him over and found blue LED lights were hooked up to his car’s headlights. Dehart was arrested.
