The Pensacola News Journal is reporting that Tim Wyrosdick, superintendent of the Santa Rosa County School District, has announced the Santa Rosa County School District is preparing to break ground on a new school in Navarre as early as next month. The new 38 million-dollar kindergarten thru eighth grade school will be on Elkhart Drive in Navarre on 42 acres, south of East Bay Boulevard and near the Holley by the Sea neighborhood. It’s the first new school to be built in the school district in 10 years.
