The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County has rescinded a health advisory for Casino Beach near the Pensacola Beach Pier because of high bacteria levels. Escambia Health Department Director Dr. John Lanza said recent water samples indicated that bacteria levels exceeded recommended thresholds established by state guidelines, but additional testing now shows the water is safe.
