The Gulf Breeze Police Department says a Louisiana woman has been arrested for a traffic crash that killed an elderly woman. 51-year-old Roxanne Hornsby was arrested yesterday by the Pensacola Police Department for an outstanding warrant for vehicular homicide after the crash at Highway 98 and St. Francis Drive on Saturday. Police said a car driven by Hornsby, was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Highway 98 and struck an SUV turning onto St. Francis Drive. The driver of the SUV, 73-year-old Marita Rhodes, died at Baptist Hospital. Hornsby is being held in the Escambia County Jail on a million-dollar bond. Other charges are pending.
