OKALOOSA COUNTY TRAINING EXERCISE

Okaloosa County drivers and residents may notice some unusual activity today. Okaloosa County Corrections and Emergency Medical Services, the Florida Department of Corrections, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the Crestview Police Department, the Military, North Okaloosa Medical Center and Northwest Florida State College will be running an emergency training exercise. It will have an Okaloosa County Department of Corrections inmate transport crashing with injuries and an escaped inmate and will take place at 7:00 a.m. at Highway 90 where it crosses over the Shoal River.
