PERDIDO KEY TRAFFIC FATALITY

The Florida Highway Patrol said one person died yesterday afternoon in a two-vehicle traffic crash on Perdido Key. Troopers say it occurred shortly after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Perdido Key Drive and Lafitte Reef. FHP spokesman Lieutenant Robert Cannon said the person died after suffering cardiac arrest. The wreck remains under investigation.
