The Florida Highway Patrol says a 66-year-old Pensacola man was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Highway 87 in Santa Rosa County. Troopers say Chris Burgess of Pensacola was crossing the southbound lane of State Road 87 near Oakland Drive in a non-crosswalk zone about 7 p.m. when he was hit by an S.U.V. driven by 34-year-old Timothy Bradley. No charges were filed.
