SCHOOLS LOCKED DOWN

Escambia County School District Deputy Superintendent Norm Ross said three schools in Escambia County were placed on lockdown for a time yesterday after reports were received of a possible trespasser. The schools were Bellview Elementary, Bellview Middle, and Longleaf Elementary School. Major Andrew Hobbs with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, says one of the schools reported a possible trespasser near Bellview Middle and Bellview Elementary. Deputies investigated and the lockdown was lifted after it was determined there was no hazard.
