MISSING AIRMAN IDENTIFIED

The Hurlburt Field airman who went missing following an unplanned parachute departure from a C-130 aircraft last week, has been identified. Air Force Staff Sergeant – 29-year-old Cole Condiff – is presumed dead after he went into the Gulf while performing a planned static-line jump. The Coast Guard announced Friday that it was suspending search operations. Recovery efforts by the Air Force and Navy are ongoing.  Condiff was a Dallas native and enlisted in the Air Force in 2012. He is survived by his wife and their two daughters.
