The Florida Highway Patrol says A Gulf Breeze man was charged with driving under the influence Saturday after colliding with a Florida Highway Patrol trooper in Escambia County. Trooper Chad Lynch was attempting to make a traffic stop on Beverly Parkway on a vehicle driven by 18-year old John McCleod III. However, McLeod struck the left side of Lynch’s patrol car. No one was injured and McLeod was charged with DUI and possession of narcotics.
