FIRE TRUCK HIT BY PICKUP

Escambia County Fire Rescue says a fire engine that had responded to a medical call at an apartment complex in Warrington early Saturday morning was hit by a pickup truck, which then went through a fence and crashed into an apartment. No firefighters were injured. There were no immediate reports of any injuries in the apartment, and the condition of the driver was not available. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
