Pensacola Police said an unmanned kayak was found adrift near the mouth of Bayou Chico yesterday morning. Department spokesman, Officer Mike Wood, said the orange kayak contained fishing gear, clothing and some live shrimp indicating it was being used for fishing. It was found adrift near the mouth of Bayou Chico. Wood later announced the person who was in the kayak was located and is safe.
