MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION DRIVE

The committee “Make It Legal Florida” a political committee working  to legalize recreational marijuana, has raised over 4,800,00 dollars and spent 4 million of that. The committee wants to pass a constitutional amendment that would allow adults 21 or older to possess up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana and marijuana accessories for personal use. They need to submit 766,200 signatures by February 1^st to get on ballot, but have submitted about half that number. The wording of the proposed constitutional amendment would also have to be approved by the Florida Supreme Court.
