The Florida Highway Patrol said a 59-year-old woman was cited by troopers after running into an Escambia County school bus on Friday. The bus was stopped on Tower Ridge Road in Beulah, with red lights flashing and stop sign deployed, when it was rear-ended by a car driven by Donna Edwards. The car was pinned under the bus, but Edwards was not injured nor was the driver of the bus or any of the 14 students on board. Edwards was cited for careless driving and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license.
