Okaloosa County deputies are investigating smash and grab car burglaries that happened outside fitness centers in Destin on Tuesday. Someone broke out windows of three vehicles and stole purses while the car owners were inside the fitness center. Investigators say similar car burglaries took place at Orange Theory Fitness on Furling Lane in Destin on Wednesday morning. Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office or make an anonymous report by calling Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at (850) 863-TIPS if you have any information on either of these crimes.
