SANTA ROSA COUNTY CARJACKING

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a 21-year-old Bay Minette, Alabama man was arrested in Milton for a carjacking. The victim, who is disabled, told deputies he pulled over for a vehicle that was flashing its headlights in the 8300 block of Hickory Hammock Road. When he stopped, he was confronted by Titus Mallory Jr., who threw him to the ground and drove away in his vehicle. Mallory lost control of the vehicle and abandoned it at State Road 87 and Interstate 10, fleeing on foot to a nearby gas station, where he attempted to take two other vehicles. Deputies arrested him and he is currently being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail.
