CORONAVIRUS IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA

The coronavirus continues to spread in Northwest Florida. The Florida Department of Health confirmed that Okaloosa County has its first case of COVID-19. The first case in Northwest Florida was a man in his 70s with underlying health problems from Santa Rosa County who died Friday at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Volusia County also has had someone test positive for the virus. Both people are isolated and have a recent history of travel.
