FAT ALBERT RETURNS

The Blue Angels have announced that “Fat Albert,” the flight demonstration team’s supply plane, will be returning for the 2020 show season. The Blue Angels purchased a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft from the British Royal Air Force in June 2019 to replace their retired C-130T Fat Albert, which had flown with the team for 17 years and accumulated more than 30,000 flight hours. The team has also hinted that Fat Albert will have a new paint scheme.
