FLORIDA GAS PRICES INCREASING

Florida gas prices are beginning to increase. Drivers paid an average of $1.88 per gallon on Memorial Day, 77 cents less than last year and the lowest Memorial Day gas price in 17 years. With more Floridians on the road, pump prices are beginning to climb although gasoline demand in Florida is still down about 20 percent from a year ago and prices increased 11 cents last week, the largest weekly increase since the pandemic began.
