With the school year officially over dozens of meal distributions sites at schools across Escambia County have also closed. The Escambia County School District Food Service Department served over 180,000 breakfasts and lunches since March 23rd. However, the West Florida Public Libraries will continue to serve meals Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all locations on a first come, first served basis. The meals include lunch and a snack, but youth must be present to receive the meals and food will not be given to adults.
