FLORIDA TEACHER PAY RAISES

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill that will raise the minimum salary for public and charter school teachers in Florida. Additional funds will go toward salary increases for more experienced teachers who are making more than the minimum salary. The 2017-2018 average starting teacher salary in Florida was $37,636.
