PENSACOLA SOLDIER MAY HAVE DROWNED

The Army Soldier from Pensacola who was found dead near Fort Hood in Texas is believed to have drowned. Fishermen found the body of 26-year-old Private Mejhor Morta last Friday at the base of a dam at  Stillhouse Hollow Lake. A preliminary autopsy determined the cause of death was drowning. Morta joined the Army in September of last year and was a Bradley fighting vehicle mechanic assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
