ESCAMBIA COUNTY MASK OPTIONS

Escambia County Commissioners will have 3 possible mask mandate options to consider at their next regular meeting on August 6th. They include an emergency order requiring individuals to wear masks and a violation would be a second degree misdemeanor – A resolution strongly encouraging the use of masks. with no penalty for failure to comply – An emergency ordinance requiring businesses to post mask-wearing requirements and require people in businesses to wear masks. It would have non-criminal citations. The County Commission can vote to approve any variation of the three options or take no action.
