The Florida Highway Patrol says one man was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night in Escambia County. Troopers say a 31-year-old Pensacola man was southbound on County Road 97 north of Arena Road, when he made a left turn as a motorcycle was trying to pass, causing the collision. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the same hospital by helicopter where he died from his injuries.
