The Florida Division of Elections says more than 28% of Florida voters cast ballots in yesterday’s primary election, the biggest voter turnout in 18 years. About 1.1 million people voted at the polls on Tuesday and 2.3 million voted by mail. In vote-by-mail and early voting, Democrats held a 300,000-vote advantage over Republicans.
