The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old male was arrested yesterday for shooting a man. The victim walked into the Circle K gas station at the corner of Creighton Road and Spanish Trail shortly before midnight with a gunshot wound in the neck. A store clerk immediately called 911. The victim was taken to a hospital but his condition is not known. Investigators say Asontae Mason has been charged with attempted homicide.
