The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened yesterday afternoon in the 2500 block of West Hatton Street. Deputies responded about 2:30 p.m. and found the victim with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. The man was transported to a hospital for treatment. The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information can contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department or make an anonymous report by calling Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP.
