University of West Florida President Doctor Martha Saunders has been given a contract extension through the end of the 2021 calendar year. A Board of Governors’ regulation limits contract extensions or renewals for presidents of academic institutions to one year after the initial three-year agreement and they unanimously approved the one-year extension yesterday. During Saunders’ presidency, the University has received national recognition and numerous awards.
