The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says a 36-year-old Pensacola man has been arrested on child neglect charges after he was found asleep behind the wheel of his car with two small children in the backseat. Deputies said Brian Holtman’s car was parked at a gas pump at a Circle K and he was passed out for at least an hour. A straw with a white powder residue was also in the car. Holtman had been released from jail on November 10th after being arrested for drug possession. He was charged with two counts of child neglect.
