COLD CASE MURDER INVESTIGATION

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is asking for public help in solving a 31-year-old murder. During the early morning hours of January 14, 1990, the body of 25-year-old Jesse Lee Davis, Jr., was found in the area of Old Palafox and Highway 29 in Cantonment. Davis was last seen alive earlier that morning walking northward toward his home from the area of Muscogee Road and Highway 29. The case remains unsolved.
