Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford says the two percent discount on the payment of real estate and tangible personal property taxes is about to end. However, since the last day of January fell on a Sunday, payments can be made online by midnight, February 1st, at EscambiaTaxCollector.com; mailed with a January postmark; left in a drop box available at all locations by close of business, February 1st, or in person at any tax collector office today.
