Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons and hundreds of community members attended the reopening and ribbon cutting of the Molino Precinct on Saturday. Sheriff Simmons said reopening the precinct will allow a quicker response time and have deputies who are more familiar with the area handling calls and patrolling the streets and roads.
