SANTA ROSA COUNTY KIDNAPPING ARREST

A Louisiana mother accused of kidnapping two children who were found safe in Milton earlier this week, has turned herself in. Shawntel Heck told a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy she was tired of running. Louisiana State Police issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday in reference to the kidnapping of an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old child. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department received information about the children and both were found safe. Heck had fled the scene and is now being held with no bond.
