The Florida Highway Patrol said one man is dead after a fiery single-vehicle crash in Santa Rosa County early Saturday morning. Troopers say an SUV was southbound on Jones Road approaching Windham Road around 1:30am, when the vehicle went off the road and collided with two mailboxes and a tree and caught fire. The driver died at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
