FLORIDA COVID-19 FINES TO BE WAIVED

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed an executive order waiving local governments-imposed fines on people or businesses when it relates to COVID-19. The order states that any fines imposed between March 1st, 2020 and March 10th, 2021 are cancelled. However, the order does not cancel fines imposed on assisted living facilities, hospitals or other healthcare providers and does not apply to any COVID-19 related orders or enforcement taken by the state.
