Yesterday the Escambia County School Board installed three board members and  re-elected Superintendent Malcolm Thomas.  Newly elected board member Kevin Adams from District 1 along with reelected Board members Patty Hightower from District 3 and Bill Slayton from District 5 all took office. District 3 Board member Linda Moultrie took over as chairman for 2016-2017 and Gerald Boone from District 2 will be vice-chairman. Regular board meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the J.E. Hall Center on Texar Drive.
