In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day Gulf Islands National Seashore is offering free entry to all sites today including Fort Pickens. Every year, national parks throughout the country waive entrance fees on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, to honor and reflect on the contributions Dr. King made towards the civil rights movement and to the country.
