An Escambia County Deputy, attempting to make a traffic stop, was involved in a traffic crash yesterday afternoon. It happened around 4:30 p.m. near Old Palafox near Olive Road when deputies attempted to stop Jeffery Grandison. However, Grandison refused to stop and rear-ended a car driven by Barbara Lowery, then collided with a marked cruiser. Grandison was later apprehended and charged by the Sheriff’s Department and the Florida Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.
