The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says 3 men have been arrested for their participation in an online child exploitation conspiracy.

22-year-old Charles McConnell III was arrested for sexual assault, and 18-counts of possession of child pornography after the Department was notified in January about the sexual abuse of a child under 12-years old.

Investigators found McConnell was sharing pornographic videos of the sexual abuse online, which led to the arrest of 22-year-old Jonah Authement, for receiving the illegal pornographic video. Santa Rosa County resident and Pace firefighter Danny Murphy was also arrested after he was indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of child pornography.
